Join me in Truckee in a cozy studio and intimate space for a half day retreat. Nurture yourself with day of yoga, somatic movement, breath work, meditation and community. Students of all levels of experience are welcome.

Winter offers us a perfect opportunity to take the time to notice all of life’s pockets of happy moments, and to pay attention to each them. As we welcome the transition to winter with the Solstice, it’s an opportunity to naturally get cozy, move a little slower, and to intentionally choose how we spend our time and energy. Winter solstice reminds us to move inward, find our breath and illuminate our inner spirit.

Join me for one of my all time favorite classes to teach. When I had my yoga studio, this was one of the classes that I looked forward to the most each Thanksgiving. There’s nothing like escaping the frantic hustle of the holiday prep to join others in a very beautiful way to center, ground and connect to yourself, the beauty of the season and the many gratitudes for this wonderful life.

Hygge Yoga for Winter Solstice

The Scandinavian word Hygge can be translated as “coziness”. Taking pleasure in in the presence of gentle, soothing things. An outlook on life that focuses on simple pleasures and taking the time to cultivate more of them in your life.

Join me in my home in Truckee for a day of “cozy togetherness” as we cultivate well-being and honor the transition to winter.

The day will include yoga, pranayama, Yoga Nidra and intention setting. I’ll have hot tea ready for you and homemade soup for lunch.

Begin Again: Spring Yoga Retreat

Join me on the feather river, tucked away in the woods just outside of Graeagle for this one day retreat. I’m fortunate to be renting the beautiful yurt on the University of Earth property.

Each day truly is a gift. Over and over we are offered an opportunity to begin again. Take this day away from the hustle and bustle of the ‘everyday’ in order to focus on being present and aware of each moment as it unfolds.

Spring represents a new start, a reminder to bring ourselves back to center and to reflect on what we are sending our energy towards. We can use the potential and fertility of this time to create opportunities for positive change in our lives and in the world.

Immerse yourself in community for a day of yoga, somatic movement, breath work and meditation. Students of all levels of experience are welcome.

Winter Solstice Workshop: Live Online

Welcome the shift to the winter season where our energies are naturally drawn inward. This is a great time to reconnect to that deep, ancient, quiet inner voice and your heart’s greater desire for a life lived in greater peace, joy and wellbeing. 

Winter solstice reminds us to move inward, find our breath and illuminate our inner spirit. The inner world beckons us to renew ourselves in stillness and inspiration. In the midst of the winter holidays, we’re called to contemplate the year gone by, and nurture ourselves for the year to come.

Join me live online via zoom for a dedicated time to honor the light within through gentle and restorative yoga, pranayama and meditation.

Please make sure to have the following props:

2 blocks, strap, 2 blankets, 1 bolster, eye covering, candle, paper and pen

Students of all abilities are welcome and encouraged to join.

The recording will be available for you to view for 2 weeks after the workshop. You do not need to be present to receive the video link.

Cancellation Policy for Workshops at Trails Within

Workshops fill on a first come, first served basis. Your spot is not guaranteed unless you prepay for it.

Cancellations 7 or more days prior to start of a workshop will receive a full refund. There will be a 10% charge taken out of your total for administration.

For cancellations less than 7 days before the workshop, we will only be able to issue a refund or studio credit if you are able to find a replacement for your reserved space.

Cancellations within 48 hours of the start of the workshop, if you do not show up, or if you leave an event early for any reason, no credit or refund is available.
